This book is not what I would call "self-help"---though it will help you!! It is inspired by the Holy Spirit (imo as a Christian) and carries real power to transform your mind. I learned through this book that effort and trying again and again is part of the process of changing and reaching my goals/destiny, but permanent change can only happen via doing it God's way, aka grace. But--even if you don't believe in God that's okay, this is still an amazing help for anyone :)

I'll keep it simple:
I'm a very, very detailed and independent, super-driven person. Yet I had trouble for years losing that last 5 lbs, learning piano, learning the Japanese language, and breaking bad habits (all these related to reaching what I believe is my destiny). This book helped me realize what I was doing right AND wrong, what I needed to stop/start doing, etc. There is NO fluff. It's straight to the point and actually has real revelation in it, not all the "ive heard it before" stuff from other "change your life" books. I actually LEARNED real, life-transforming, thought-provoking principles that are really common sense, but I had desensitized my conscience so much over the years I that really forgot what I needed to do! Ha. And the amazing thing is, everything in this book is credited to God's wisdom, with practical inspiring examples from Doug's life as a pastor, businessman, entertainer, etc, and science/psychology to back other stuff up :)

THANK YOU Doug and THANK YOU God!! Wonderful. A masterpiece. I highly recommend.

Every person and every church should have this book. It will practically take every person into their calling, and they will be on their way and have results, and be able to help everybody they meet into their life purpose.I have already read it two times, and it is better than any other coachingcourse I have seen, and payed a lot for. Written very well, step by step directions. Each chapter brings new understanding to bring one into the Destiny God has for them.
Highly recommend this book; very well written!!
Very good read so far, writing is very small and I hate paperbacks but kindle not available anymore. Recommended for those with eyes to see!
Love the books power marinating of the personal relationship with God and personal development, just as the title says.

I would recommended it to the driven person who needs more of God in their plans for their life, this book will balance you out!

I would also recommend it to people who is just waiting around for God to fulfill your destiny!
