This book Was Awesome!! I was so hooked the entire story I couldn't put it down and When I got to the end I immediately went and bought Book two because I just had to know more! This story Was so well written I felt like I was apart of it! Holiday is living a double life as a wife to Joe and Mother to Evey. She is A wedding planner or so her family thought! Really her and her sisters are Ghosts a highly trained Government group of assassins they are the best at what they do and when Holidays daughter Evey is in Danger of being kidnapped and trained to be a ghost by "Mother" Ava their skills are put to the test and they prove that even "heartless killers" will stop at nothing to protect the ones they love! I absolutely loved every single one of the "Jones" Sisters! My Favorite however are Rebecca with her Straightforward Bluntness She takes no Crap and has no Problem telling everyone how it is and how its going to be, and Orenda is also my favorite with her Nurturing and Caring attitude she is a great support for Holiday and all the sisters! As the sister plan to shut down the agency and ensure Evey's safety as well as Rescue their sister Joy from Ava Holiday is finding out along the way that she has a special gift and she will soon awaken and when she does that will make her way more dangerous then she or anyone else ever imagined! I highly recommend this book!Product details

I felt as though I was reading an essay written by a 13 year old girl for other 13 year old girls. How many times must she say "I love him so much", "I love them so much, "they are my sisters & I love them so much", I love her so much". Are you annoyed yet? I was by this childish simplistic book. Give me a break. The majority of the sentences began with "I", & the grammar, punctuation, & spelling errors were too numerous to let go.
I hate being left up in the air at the end of a story & really, with this book, who cares? Not about to waste any more money on this author.
I had been told that this book was not what is seemed by it's title. I am not one to read ghost stories. This is not a ghost story. It is a sit on the edge of your seat adventure story. Holiday is a trained killer protecting her family from someone who she thought loved her. I have read Solease Barner's other series, The Draglen Brothers, Draken and loved it so I knew I would not be disappointed reading this series. Cannot wait to read the next book.

I felt connected to Holiday Towley the moment the book started. Like many other mothers she would do anything for her child. However, Holiday is a trained assassin. When she finds out someone wants her daughter, her sisters, ghosts sisters, rally to her side. Not only her sisters but people who threaten her marriage. When her "special gifts" begin to surface her life takes a wild turn. David being one of those turns and a mother from the dark side of life.
I can't wait for book II in the trilogy to come out.

This book was full of action from the start. Holiday is not your average women she is a ghost a top secrecy agent trained from childhood to kill those who the government deems a threat. Her life is filled with one lie after another she decides she want to marry and have a family but she can't have that life without her past catching up to her. AVA the women who adopted holiday wants Evey, holidays daughter she wants to train her just like she did holiday to be a ghost but that will happen when he'll freezes over. This is the story of how holiday and her adopted sister protect holidays previous baby from their sciatic mother. Will holiday get away with her lie of a life? Will her past and present get her and destroy her family? To find out I say get this book it's an emotional rollercoaster from the get go I didn't want it to stop 5 gold stars
Secrets of the Ghosts -The Sleeper (Volume 1)I had never heard of this author before & went to the book release party, ended up buying the book without reading what it was about. I thought it was a ghost story. I liked the author during the party, so I bought the book. WOW!!! BLOWN AWAY BY THIS BOOK!! Holiday Towley is not your average mom. An orphan at a young age and taken in with a few other girls her age, became sisters and dedicated to each other in all ways. She is an assassin! She fell in love, which wasn't suppose to happen, has a daughter and lives her life as a Wedding Planner. At the very beginning of the book, she has to leave the house and be at a diner by 6am, telling her hot hubby some problems came up with the wedding she's working on, only to go do away with some scum of the world. No witnesses can be left alive. And she walks away. I was blown away!!! Goes home, cooks dinner for hubby, while feeding Evey, it's just action, love and suspense all in one. A totally unforeseen plot which is intense at every turn of the page!! An emotional read to say the least!! When her "Special Gifts" become noticeable, it affects her relationship with David, her sisters rally around her, and then there's the dark side that enters into the plot...Mother. You are not going to stop until you've finished this book!! I bought the second book immediately before I even got to the 3rd Chapter!!! Solease Barner is incredible talent. Bringing the characters together with their own personalities, Holiday leading a double life and trying to keep her family out of the whole situation is just edge of your seat reading. I can't say anymore, I'd be giving this book away. Just writing this review I'd gift people with this book!! I did at the second party!! I would've bought anyone who didn't have this book last night right then and there!! Incredible and unforeseen plot...it will blow your freaking mind!!! If this doesn't become a movie, I'd really be surprised!! And now I'm into book 2, and it's Evil fighting Good....it's unbelievable!!! Mother seems to want more then Holiday bargained for. I love how she puts Mother in there, it literally gives me the creeps!!! Outstanding book Solease Barner!!! I've never blindly bought a book and damn glad I did!!! WHAT A RIDE!!!
