I loved how the author gives you all the warm fuzzy stuff then, POW!! You get the suspense and thrill. This has everything a good romance suspense story can have. The author gives you the happy, sexy, hot sex scenes, laughter, tears and thrill all in one story. I had a hard time putting it down!

Where DO I begin? After spending so much time reading non-fiction I have to ask myself why I stopped reading fiction in the first place after finishing this novel in the course of 3 days. The characters drew me in and kept me reading as the limited amount of dog ears in my copy would suggest. The only thing that would make this book better would be an audio book! If you think you know where this book is going as you read you haven't read it enough because there are so many twists that you had to keep reading! Just another chapter I kept saying. Disclaimer, there is definitely some spicy romance to this so make sure you have your heart medicine handy! I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more novels from the author. Who knows if we will see a line of Melody Novels? Is there a sequel, or perhaps a prequel? I wait to find out happy with whatever this MaryAnn Morris publishes next!
So glad I didn't actually pay for this, it was a freebie. I always try to find something positive about the story but with this I just couldn't. Melody could possibly be the most annoying, whiny, spineless -supposed heroine -of any book I have ever read. The girl honestly does not have one redeeming quality. Her southern belle goody-goody act got old really fast - faster than she got her undies off for Ryder. The story was monotonous and predictable and the dialogue was stilted. There was no mystery, no build up to romance - just a self involved girl and a bad storyline.
This has to be one of the best books. Not many stories tell so many years of a couples lives. This is a must read!
Good story. Along the lines of fifty shades but not as intense. Overall a good read. Free book so nothing lost. Would have been upset if I had paid full price.
I downloaded this book because it was free and had 2 parts so I thought it would be a nice long read...wrong! I couldn't put it down. Love how there are not problems with their relationship such as one of them cheating or having childhood trauma. Lots of steamy sex!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that it came in 2 parts. I loved the plot line with all the twists and turns. I loved the characters (well maybe not Sam) I look forward to reading more from Ms. Morris.
