If you like plenty of sex and not much of a plot, this one's for you. She likes his pecs and abs; he likes her butt and legs, so they get together a lot. He struggles with guilt over his best friend's death; she suffers from her mother's rejection. They finally confess their hang-ups to each other in a couple of emotional scenes, let go of the past and live Happily Ever After. That's it. That's all, folks. I did appreciate the lack of profanity--didn't find a single f-word in the book. The proofreading and editing were good, too. I just wish the story had more meat on its bones!

All or Nothing All Series Book 1 edition by Natalie Ann Romance eBooks Reviews

I really enjoyed this book. The character development was good, the characters were likeable, and the story progression was realistic. They got to know each other before jumping into bed and had to overcome their respective reservations about getting into a serious relationship and allowing someone to have the ability to hurt you. Ben and Presley's story got me interested and the book is definitely worth reading.
A beautiful emotional love story about an ugly truth. It highlights a 30 something, professional couple. Proficient in their personal and professional life, or so it seems. On the outside, everyone sees them as put together, but their internal dialog reveals the emotional struggles of the past. As they come to realize the parallels of their trauma, they evolve to a higher level of trust and understanding. Their love deepens as their emotional burdens lift.

What's poignant, as a psychiatric nurse, I see these functional, seemingly put together, empty shell bodies all the time. So many people out there are hanging on by sheer grit. Now in real life, Ben and Presley may need a lot of therapy, but in All or Nothing, they have each other, their deep admiration of each others strengths and love to help them through it.
First book of this author it was a different style of writing and I loved it. Well developed characters!! I simply loved both Presley and Ben !! They were both strong and carried baggage . Author had done good job of developing the relationship before sex was involved. The story could be related to a normal day to day life. It was really fine tuned by the author.
Hoping to read Phil and Sophie story next !!
This stand-alone is easy to follow. No formatting errors, graphic violence or drag-you-down drama.

The storyline is very light, no deep emotions or mysterious happenings. Flexible procedures, actions and reactions. Believable dialogue and characters with distinct personalities.

Navy Seals say "Hooyah", not "Hoorah" which is a Marine term.

No desire to re-read this story. I may be interested in other works by this author.
This was the first book I read by Natalie Ann and I really liked it. There were a lot of characters from her series Road To . . . . which I had not read yet. Sometimes when there are characters from another series that continue to appear in a new series by the same author, the author spends a page to 2 trying to explain how everyone knows one another. I liked the way this author wrote about everyone and how they knew one another with enough information that you understood the relationships but it wasn't drawn out so far that your needed a family tree to follow along.
What I really liked about Ben & Presley was even with their personal struggles they really wanted to move forward with a relationship-well after Ben made it clear he wanted to have a relationship not just a fling. They both had pretty traumatic events happen in their past, but they were each working to try to push past it-Presley was doing that more successfully than Ben.
I liked all of the self-talk and questioning, it seemed realistic to me. Who hasn't questioned what the heck another person is thinking or what you're doing in a relationship.
I also like that this author doesn't take you through a horrible break-up in order for the H & h to get to their Happily Ever After. Loved the ending!
Another terrific story in a series by Natalie Ann. Ben and Presley have a compatible relationship, and they are slowly falling in love. Their easy smiles and quick banter doesn't hide the dark and troubled past each of them can't let go of. They especially can't hide it from each other. Together, they make each other whole. It's another beautiful story in the Harper series. The emotional ending put tears in my eyes. Loved it. Love Natalie Ann.
Ben and Presley have a working relationship at the hospital during the day. A chance encounter one evening has them meeting up at a pool bar. And there's where it starts! Presley can't deny how Ben gives her butterflies. But, being as Ben is a former Navy Seal, he can't ignore his haunted past and isn't sure how involved he wants to be with nurse Presley. Without discouraging a relationship, Ben is willing to take things slow. And when they're ready to take the next step, Presley needs to come to grips with her own troubled past to prove she can handle a more serious relationship. Ben will need to trust Presley by opening those tightly shut doors down memory lane so that he can move forward too.

Nice, steady flow to the storyline. Although, around 65% in the book starts to drag which caused me to eventually skim the chapters until I could no longer
